Silver Package

Bronze Package

All three packages includes the same offering, the difference between the three is the amount of advertising space that is allocated.  With the Gold Package the sponsor has exclusive advertising and the choice of two advertising boards – size A2 (the cabinet would be positioned beneath the board) or 1m x 1m (the cabinet would be positioned in the centre).

Package includes:-

  • Powerheart® G5 AED
  • Carry Sleeve
  • Outdoor Heated Cabinet – locked or unlocked
  • Installation*
  • Replacement pads
  • Rescue Ready® Kit
  • Insurance**
  • Advertising for 4 years
  • 1 artwork change or artwork refreshed***

*You have the option to install the cabinet yourselves and there will be a price reduction off the final total.  However this would need to be carried out by a qualified electrician as any damage to the cabinet voids the warranty.

**Insurance is included in the Gold Package when leased.

*** During the 4 years, the artwork can be changed once or simply refreshed – this allows for new branding, product updates etc.

Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is an ‘electrical’ problem.  An SCA occurs when the heart loses its electrical rhythm and suddenly and unexpectedly stops beating. If this happens, blood stops flowing to the brain and other vital organs.

If someone has suddenly collapsed, is not breathing normally and is unresponsive, they are in cardiac arrest.

Every minute counts.

On average, it takes an ambulance 10-12 minutes, sometimes longer, to arrive at the scene of an accident.  In the case of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest, in those 10-12 minutes, the victim’s survival rate plummets to less than 10% without CPR and defibrillation. If a rescuer can provide defibrillation in the first minute, the victim’s chance of survival increases to more than 90 percent (European Resuscitation Council Guidelines for Resuscitation 95 (2015); Section 1. Executive Summary (1-80)).

Less than one in 10 people survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest in the UK (British Heart Foundation – 2015 report). This is partly because bystanders don’t have the skills or confidence to help  The concern may be that you could do further harm but the irony is without intervention that person has no chance of survival.

If it’s not treated, SCA usually causes death within minutes.

Heart Attack vs SCA

Often an SCA and heart attack are thought to be the same thing.  Although a heart attack can lead on to an SCA if blood flow is restricted long enough, they are both very different.

A Heart Attack is a ‘plumbing’ problem whereas a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is an ‘electrical problem.

A heart attack is caused when the blood supply to the heart is blocked but the heart keeps beating.  The patient is conscious, breathing and can be talking but has symptoms such as pains in one or both arms and chest. There are other possible symptoms such cold sweats, nausea and feeling lightheaded.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA)

SCA occurs when the heart’s electrical system goes haywire causing an arrhythmia.  There are many types of arrhythmias.  The arrhythmia that causes an SCA is one where the heart stops pumping blood to the brain and other vital organs. An SCA can happen to anyone regardless of age, fitness, diet.

If someone has suddenly collapsed, is not breathing or not breathing normally and is unresponsive, they are in sudden cardiac arrest.
